These units feature Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization (NPBI) which releases charged ions that neutralize pathogens and particles, making them easier to filter. Equipped with high-efficiency MERV filters and optional NPBI modules, they offer effective air and surface sanitation. The BSE AIRMAX model provides up to 2500 CFM airflow, suitable for large areas up to 25,000 cubic feet, and can be wall or ceiling-mounted for flexible installation. They are easy to maintain with accessible, replaceable filters and operate quietly and efficiently.

Filtration System Components in AIRMAX Series Units

Pre-Filters: The unit includes a 4-inch pleated pre-filter to capture larger particles and prolong the life of the main bag filter.
Bag Filters: High-quality micro-glass multi-pocket bag filters are the primary filtration method, available in MERV 11 or MERV 15 ratings.
Activated Charcoal (Optional): A 2-inch thick activated granular charcoal filter can be added after the bag filters to absorb gaseous air contaminants (VOCs).
Charcoal Canister (Optional): Two canisters, each containing 18 lbs of granular activated charcoal, can be installed after the bag filters for additional VOC removal.
HEPA Filters (Optional): As an optional third filtration stage, HEPA filters are available for all AIRMAX series units, offering 99.97% efficiency in removing sub-micron particles.
