How an Air Conditioner Works:

1. Air Conditioners comprise of two sections

a) The Evaporator section where the cooling of the room air takes place.

b) Condenser section where the rejection of the heat removed takes place

2. The evaporator fan drawn the room air over the cold evaporator coil where any heat is removed and the air is cooled.

3. Typically this cooling effect reduces the air temperature by approximatly10°C.

4. The condenser fan draws typically outside air over the condenser coil where the heat removed from the evaporator coil is added.

5. This warmer air is then exhausted outside.
